Ace College Admissions With Expert Guidance!

Families often come to me feeling unsure about how to navigate the college admissions process.

Students are working hard. Parents want to support them. But the application process can feel confusing and stressful.

Over the years I have had the privilege of working with thoughtful students and supportive families navigating this journey together.

Here are a few reflections from families about their experience.

Parent Reflections

"Neil helped our daughter organize her experiences into a story that finally made sense."

"The entire process felt calmer once we had a clear strategy."

"Our son became much more confident once he understood how to present his interests."

"Neil helped us focus on colleges where our daughter would truly thrive."

Student Reflections

"Working together helped me understand how to tell my story."

"The essay process became much easier once I knew what I wanted to say."

"I ended up applying to schools that were a much better fit for me."

Video Stories From Families

Hearing directly from students and parents often tells the story better than words alone.

These short videos share what the process felt like for families and how students approached their college applications.

Connor’s Story

Connor was a deeply curious student who loved ideas.

He read widely, asked thoughtful questions, and could dive deeply into subjects that interested him. But the college application process felt overwhelming. Like many twice exceptional students, organization was difficult and his application did not yet reflect the depth of his thinking.

His parents worried that colleges might miss what made Connor special.

So we slowed the process down.

Instead of trying to build a perfect résumé, we focused on what Connor genuinely cared about. As we talked through his interests and experiences, a clearer story began to emerge.

His activities started to connect.
His essays became more thoughtful and personal.
The application finally reflected how he thinks.

Connor was admitted to several excellent universities including

Brandeis University
Seattle University
University of Puget Sound

Each school offered significant merit scholarships including a 45,000 dollar award.

Connor ultimately chose Brandeis University, where undergraduates work closely with professors and have opportunities to pursue research early in their college experience.

For Connor, it was exactly the kind of environment where he could thrive.
